    Jim, you're right, no excuses .. get better and get out there regularly and the speed will come back in no time! 5 miles is a great start!

      K I just finished my workout I am still very sore from my last Upper body so it was hard and I couldn't lift as heavy.

      This is How it went.

      Standing Cable Curls Dropset 10x80lbs,8x70lbs,8x60lbs,8x50lbs (no rest between sets)
      Seated Rows Dropset 12x100lbs,10x120lbs,10x110lbs,8x100lbs (no rest between sets)
      Standing Front Cable curls 10x70lbs,8x70lbs,8x70lbs,8x70lbs (1 minute rest between sets)
      Reverse Flies 10x15lbs,10x15lbs,10x15lbs,10x15lbs (1 minute rest between sets)
      Dumbell Curls 10x20lbs,10x20lbs,7x20lbs,7x20lbs (1 minute rest between sets)
      Behind Neck Pull Down 8x60lbs,8x60lbs,7x60lbs,7x60lbs (1 minute rest between sets)

      It was a great workout my upper body is sore and I feel it where I want to feel it so it's all good.

        5 miles yesterday... planning 5 again for today.

        (This week has been frustrating... things keep popping up that preventing me from running, like having a small procedure done at the doctor the other day. But I did get to go rock climbing on Tuesday and go to my weights class at the gym Monday, so I haven't been a total lazy bum. My arms still hurt every time I so much as pick up a glass of water... I forgot how hard climbing is!)

          5.2 miles done in 84 degree HEAT .. dang, summer is back. I sweat off 1.5 pounds in an hour.

            I managed to do another mile today. Wish I could say it was easier then Tuesday. Just gotta focus on what I can do. *goes off to pout*

              Getting my runs in, just don't seem to be getting them put in here in a timely manner.

              Tuesday: 6 miles
              Wednesday: 7 miles
              Thursday: 6 miles

                Bah... only 3.5 yesterday. Every single step felt like I was moving a ROCK. And now I think I'm getting sick... this just isn't my week!!

                    I am running outside today WOOHOO exciting hope it's a really great run I am up 9 pounds pre tom and post thyroid meds being adjusted this always happen and it takes like 4 weeks to get better DAMN.

                      Sarah, girlfriend, no fretting over those pounds! They don't stand a chance with you, you know that!! Enjoy that nice outdoor run today!!!

                      Me? I am reduced to doing LAUNDRY today so I have nothing to interfere with tomorrow's LSR starting promptly at 7:00 a.m.!!! Just me, the sunrise, the seagulls and 13 blissful miles.

                        Saturday: 13.3 miles in 2:39. Not fast but very enjoyable. Getting hotter out though and I can tell my body is NOT yet adjusted. "Listen up, bod, this is Florida ... shape up! gonna get hotter than this, dadgummit!"

                        5 weeks until the Disneyworld "Women Run the World 15k". Ought to be nice and toasty by then.

                        This week's total: 6.3, 4.7, 5.1, 13.3 = 29.4
