    Sarah, thanks for that article! I'm doing 25 minutes of HIIT on my ellip. I like his idea of adding one more minute on the 3rd day. I'm going to give that a try.

    It was a killer 25 minutes today though. My legs are pretty sore from last night...and because I haven't been doing it, I'm out of shape again.

    I got on the scales this morning....just wanting to see how much damage TOM did to my weight (plus the workout last night) and I was down another 1.3 lbs!!! HOLY CRAPPERS!! This is fantastic! Not sure why...but I'll take it!!! LOL

    Hey, can you edit your introduction thread to include that article with our little collection???

        Great article!
        i did a Billy Blanks dvd for my cardio/toning today. Also did some crunches. It was fun. I like doing toning with my cardio, and there's no excuse with a dvd player. I'm going to blend the hiit into it also. Tomorrow's a full body weight session, I've been slacking.

          Hello, I did my run it felt very good I went 3.6 miles in 30 minutes I did that Super hit for the last 5 minutes at 7 MPH holly crap I thought I would definately die HE HE. It's pretty cool I could do 5 minutes I did better then I thought I would. I burned around 400 calories which rocks then I walked for 10 minutes to cool down.

              Great Job pam, DID ya read up on the HIIT article I found in my search for thinness HA HA. I did it today and all I could do was 5 minutes it's BRUTAL as **** but, AWesome

                I did, but honestly, the HIIT would be too much right now, I think, I tried going faster for really short periods of time, but I have to tell you, there is a WORLD of difference in the difficulty of the treadmill versus the gazelle. The much higher impact is wreaking havoc with my shins, and I want to be able to work up to doing a more intensive workout, but it's going to be very slowly, to avoid any possible injury. My thick short legs just can only take so much! LOL

                  K first off if you are having trouble with your SHINS seriously drop the incline for a BIT this happened to me so Listen to your body and drop the incline and go a bit slower just for now till those puppies aren't hurting any more. Do some shin stretches and try to strengthen up the front shin muscle. If you need specific exercises you can do I will help you but, if your shins are hurting slow down drop the incline K. I don't want ya kicked out

                      YUP Build slowly or the chances of injurey is too great I don't want you injured Pain is your bodies way of saying "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING"" I can't handle this yet. It will you will be able to resume just slower down a bit till you have no pain or tenderness in those shins. A shin injurey can Knock you right out of cardio and we don't want that. We want injurey free training.

                        Well ladies....My legs and butt are SORE, my arms are WOBBLY and going to be SORE but dang I feel GOOD LOL

                        Here's my workout for tonight:
                        Dumbell Flyes 12x7.5, 10x10, 8x12.5, 6x15, 4x17.5
                        Barbell Bench Press 12x34
                        Barbell Pullovers 12x24

                        Dumbell Press 12x7.5, 10x10, 8x12.5, 6x15, 4x17.5
                        Front Raises 12x10 (each side)
                        Side Deltoid Laterals 12x10 (each side)

                        Tricep Extensions 12x10, 10x12.5, 8x15, 6x17.5, 4x20
                        Tricep Kickbacks 12x12.5
                        Lying Tricep Extensions 12x12.5

                        Bent over Rows 12x7.5, 10x10, 8x12.5, 6x15, 4x17.5
                        Barbell Rows 12x24
                        Two arm hammer rows 12x10

                        (its getting hard to type)

                        Hammer Curls 12x5, 10x7.5, 8x10, 6x12.5, 4x15
                        Barbell Curls 12x24
                        Concentration curls 12x7.5 (each side)

                        It takes me over an hour to do this workout.

                            Yep...the only bad thing is that I have to do this in the evening...and then I'm wired for sound afterward. here it is almost midnight and i have to be up at 6 AM

                                OK I just Got done my Nastie Workout I am shaking all over OH YA BABY!!! My arms are Popping for the first time ever I saw veins in my arms when I was lifting NOW that is DAMN cool. They are soo PUMPED right now I LOVE IT!!!!

                                This is what I did.

                                Cable Curls Dropset 10x80lbs,10x70lbs,7x60lbs,7x50lbs ( no rest between sets)
                                3 minute rest before next dropset
                                Seated rows Dropset 12x100lbs (too light) 10x120lbs,8x110lbs,8x100lbs ( no rest between sets)
                                3 minute rest to Next set
                                Upright front cable curls close grip 8x70lbs,8x80lbs,8x80lbs,8x80lbs ( 1 minute rest between sets)
                                Behind Neck Pull downs 8x60bs,8x60lbs,8x60lbs,7x60lbs ( 1 minute rest between sets)
                                Hammer curls 7x25lbs (OHH heavy) 7x25lbs,7x25lbs,6x25lbs ( 1 minute rest between sets)
                                Bent Over Rows 12x90lbs ( too light) 10x110lbs, 8x110lbs,10x110lbs ( 1 minute rest between sets)
                                3 minute rest before Superset
                                Upright Cable curls 25x50lbs ( oh man feel the burn I was dripping sweat by the end of this one)
                                3 minute rest before Superset
                                Seated Rows Superset 30x100lbs ( oh ya burning really nastie I am sooo fatigued)
