    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

          Joy, I also love running along Bayshore .. but the sidewalk there doesn't love my knees ... its the PITS getting old!

          At least for the races, we'll be running on the asphalt street, so that will at least be more forgiving than concrete!

            3 miles tonight after work with one of the IT guys. Wow, what a difference it made running with someone. I only walked ONE TIME for about a minute, minute and a half. He did help me to pace myself. It was really good. I didn't get to time myself...but that's okay.

                    I just started my training for the next major race in the area -- the Drake Relayes half Marathon. I am in week 3 of 16 week (long for a half marathon) and I am still building my base up again. This week was:
                    2 miles - Sunday (recovery run)
                    4 miles - Tuesday
                    5k - Wednesday
                    2.9 miles Friday -- got my new Forerunner 205
                    7.8 miles Saturday
                    20 miles this week, and it only builds from here.

                    Started 3-31-04 - 211 Total pounds down (was 21
