I am new to running. Here is where I am at...
walk 1 mile at about 15 minute pace
then run 1 mile at about an 11 minute pace
then walk another 2 miles at about 14 minute pace
I currently run outdoors, but do have a treadmill for rainy/winter days or when I can't get my excercise in until after dark.
I would like to get become a "runner" and hopefully be able to run a marathon someday.
Does anyone have training suggestions or a good resource that I can reference for a training schedule? websites or book
