Hey everyone!
I have a problem and was wondering if anyone had any advice...
I have been going to the gym for about a week now and I usually start with the treadmill to get myself warmed up.. The only problem is, after a few minutes, I get an intense pain from my outer ankle to about halfway up my calf.. I don't really know what causes it, but it makes me have to stop my workout to massage the area and keeps me from reaching my target heart rate. This problem is really getting me discouraged because it is painful and makes me feel like i'm not working out effectively enough. Does anyone have any insight on what this might be? I wear Van's brand shoes to work out in. Should I get new shoes, should I try stretching, is it lack of potassium or something? I really am desperate to find a way to resolve this issue.
