    I am starting Atkins today I and I need some advice about my exercise plans.

    ~swim 1 hour on T,W,TH,F before hubby goes to work
    ~evening walk with the dog on T,W,TH
    ~walk on treadmill for 20 minutes each day when hubby is home from work (T,W,TH,F)

    Does this sound OK?

    I'd throw something in on sunday or monday, others may have other ideas but whe I used to workout if I went 3 days without doing something, I usually ended up slacking when I went back got used to doing nothing. I ended up dropping down to 4 days a week then 5...ugh I dont wanna think about it... What I would think is plan to do 5 days but actual do atleast 4 no less but if your feeling excess vigor spring for 5 soon you will be wanting to do 6 and 7 and then you become Betty (ttrdriver) and wanna do 8

    but it all depends on your level of ability, some have a hard time going 5 days a week...soon I'm gonna start the body for life exercise.

    F Upper
    S Cardio
    S off

    But all in all what you have sounds great for starters, when you plan a new exercise schedule you find you will be changing it often til you get it hammered out, but most importantly any exercise is better than none, so what you have is good if it works for you. Just remember not to get bored with it!!! And Welcome to Atkins!

      Thanks for the reply.

      The problem with exercising on the days that you mentioned is that I work EVERY FR/Sat/Su from 7p-7a, so when I am home I am sleeping.
