    I just saw your new pic I love it you are so tanned I am soooo very white LOL. I really like the new haltar I love wearing stuff like that and wwill be sporting it in the summer.

    It;s running day for me today I need to wake up and get my kids going I have to wait till my littlest goes to sleep to run though or it doesn't get done.

    I am still down 2 pounds even know TOM is full force today YUCK I hate it a lot oh, well it's part of being a woman I guess the crappy part but still part.

    I am glad the toe is feeling better Betty that surely takes a load off. Piasabird, I am sorry you are feeling ill better not to take a chance with an accident and also better to rest and recoop so you feel better in the next day or so.

      I did not walk yesterday. I simply did not make the time to do it. I will be today. I am not sure if I will get a wlk in as the weather is supposed to turn but I will do something. I promise!
      Betty thanks for all of the encouragement, I need all the help I can get. Glad to hear your toe is feeling better.
      iyamamaschke-you are doing so great. I am throughly amazed by your dedication to this WOL. Keep up the good work!

        TADAAAAAHH!! I did it again though today was harder then the other 2 days I still freaken did it WOOOHOO another 5 kms YAY. I am a running machine Wow, I am really increasing my milage and it's like it came on BOOM. I will stay at this for a bit and see how it goes cause I don't think increasing would be good cause I increase quite dramatic from last week to this week. All of me is feeling good though. I think I am going to start having a protein shake about 2 hours before I run cause I kinda lagged out I didn't have anything to eat since the AM big NO NO so busy had 5 kids seemed like I had no time for myself. LOL. I'm sure it will all be good. I am going to Extra Foods and get me a bag of low carb whey protein powder so that I have it on hand. I find if I eat anything even 3 hours before I get side stiches so I have been making my own protein drink today I didn't and I sure could tell. SMACK me now I was bad.

          Here you are Betty, I found it! That halter is so cute on you! I just ordered several halters and other tops for summer, I can't wait 'till they arrive! Great job on the running everybody!

                Put me down for 9 miles this morning ... ugh .. I'm beat. Feel good though .. is that an oxymoron? ensive

                Anyway, the weather was good and I felt like pushing myself a little harder today. I got a good sunburn so I'm looking like a true Floridian nowadays!!

                31.2 miles this week. Not too bad for an old lady like me!!

                Rest day tomorrow ... Oh the knees are rejoicing!!

                  Wow, 9 miles is fantastic, Betty! Today is my off day, too, but I don't do anything as strenuous as running. I need to increase my intensity, though.

                  Guess what, I wore a BIKINI today, for the first time in over 10 years, and I'm 30 lbs. lighter than I was when I wore one back then! It was only to lay out and get some sun in my back yard, but I will be going to the beach in it very soon! Hope all you runners are having a great weekend!

                    9 miles of running, Betty! :clapping

                    Wow!

                    I went for a bike ride today. It felt good, even though there was a killer wind blowing for the last part of the ride. I felt a little bad because I smoked my bf and HE was the one who got me into biking in the first place. Well, he'll have time to get in better shape in the future. :yes

                    My average speed would have been better except the bf wanted to go off the trail and check out his old childhood neighborhood. And, so we had to slow down when riding through the streets. (I don't like riding on the road because it freaks people out and some drivers are so rude! One car just wouldn't pass us even though he had plenty of chances. And then we got honked at by someone!) Then the bf wanted to show me something and then he had to stop to adjust his cd player. So, my average speed got cut down significantly.

                    I'll do better next time!

                      Thanks you guys!! The exciting part of it was, even after 9 miles I wasn't even sore!! Not even the day after!! WOOHOO!!

                      Janette that is AWESOME about the bikini! I bet you felt like a bazillion bucks in it!! Oh girlie, that is sooooooooooooooo exciting!! Can you send me pix to my home email? I'd love to see you skinny thing in it!!

                      Piasabird, that's a great workout today!! WOW!! Even going off the trail and hitting the streets, you still did awesome!! Oh I know what you mean about rude drivers around bikers ... they are terrible here ... Shoot, I run on the sidewalk and they're even rude to me! I pray everyday they don't run me over! I think it irritates people to see other people out exercising!!

                      Great job everyone!!!

                        I was kicking it today ran a little faster then usual so in 45 minutes I went 3.26 miles instead of 3.15 so I am pretty impressed. I hope I keep improving. This run was very hard but, I got it done and that's all that matters. I really need to get some new running tunes anyone know some great turnes to run to cause I am dying here. I can put anything on my mp3 player and I love techno dance upbeat stuff any suggestions.

                          Now that SIL is back at her home---YEA!! (she's a non-stop eating machine that plays the victim role to the hilt) I got back to running today. Wow, did I need it too---ran for 5.5miles in 55 minutes. That's kicking for me. Last week I did start strength training and plan to alternate my days between running and strength. It was amazing to me that some of the strength exercises I couldn't do, couldn't get my muscles to move and others were so easy. What an extreme!
