Got myself thinking, what if I were to diet a week, each having one nutrient restricted respectively? Allow me to break it down: Something along the lines of
Week 1 - Carb Restriction
Week 2 - Fat Restriction
Week 3 - Some other fad diet
and whatever else you can think of, and so on
Reading about leptin and refeeds as such got me thinking, what if I cycled between various kinds of diets rapidy over short periods. As soon as Week 1 ends, and we're into eating a good amount of carbs and cutting back on eating fat which was eaten moderately on week 1, would this help "trick" the body into raising metabolism as soon as it wants to lower it? As soon as it realises that it's not getting enough carbs, it suddenly is and the fat that it was receiving well, is depleting gradaully, and as it catches onto that, it's suddenly has enough again. Then we move onto another diet and so goes.
Any comments, concerns?

I am back on induction, a week into it now on 4/22/10, doing excellent and seeing results. Once again, my weight goal is 140.
