  • Ssri...

I am on an SSRI called Cipralex. Very short half life (like 36 hours?) In the past when I have missed a dose, later in the day I will get light headed, have "brown outs", and "brain zaps" until I realize I've missed my dose and take one (usually around 12 hours after I should have taken my dose). Today I woke up feeling like I'd missed my dose... Very wierd for me. I'm going to have to talk to my doctor again about this medication and this diet... Maybe my serotonin is low for some other reason. Regardless, I have made a commitment to do 40 mins cardio every day this week at work. We'll see how I'm doing after breakfast this morning.

      glad you are feeling better.
Many folk on SSRI meds need dose adjustments when they low carb because of liver usage issues.

I'm an idiot... I took my dose out of the pill bottle and put it on the dresser. Even though I also keep pills at work in case I forget to take them in the morning, I didn't take them because I was under the impression that I had taken my meds already.... Now that my body chemistry is back to "normal" I feel great once again.

This is what happens when you stop the caffeine...
