I had my Dr. appointment yesterday, including an ultrasound. While the technician was doing my ultrasound she asked if I was making sure to get plenty of fluids and sleeping on my left side. I thought about how I sleep and told her I sleep on my left side every night.
After I got home, I realized I lied to her. I always sleep on my RIGHT side, not my left. Is there a reason that I should be sleeping on my left side? (It's really uncomfortable).
As far as my appointment goes, they were able to confirm its a boy
They said he already weighs 3 pounds 2 ounces (at 30 weeks). My blood presure looked good, and my glucose test results were excellent.
I start my 2 week appointments on the 21st and will have a monthly u/s to check baby's growth. The doc said in a month she would also like to start NMS (NNS, NSS something close to that, if anyone knows please let me know!) testing. She said it checks the fluid to make sure its not damaging the baby, and it's testing they always do if there's hypertension.
All in all it was a good visit. Sounds to me like I've got a large baby...
