        I know it's 4/5 days into the challenge, but can I still get in on it??

        If so, I'll commit to 4 days a week/30 minutes a day at least

        I started Atkins on 4/17 at a starting weight of 203
        week 1 weigh in was on 4/24 and I was down to 195

        measurements then were:

        -Under arms, around chest-37
        -Fullest part of chest- 44
        -Ribcage- 36
        -Waist- 39
        -Hips- 47
        -Upper arm x 2- R 12.5, R 12.5
        -Thigh x 2- R 28, L 28
        -Weight- 195

        I also measured:
        -calves x 2 - R 16, L 16
        -neck - 13.5

        203/189/125
        Female/ 5' 3"

        Start weight: 203
        official weigh in on Mondays

          I want to join this challenge and I hope it isn't too late. I pledge to exercise 5 days a week. So far this week I exercised Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I am heading out to the gym now for day 4.
          This will give me more incentive to keep on an exercise schedule.

                  1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                  what the rungs mean to me:
                  rung 1 - more veggies
                  rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                  rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                  rung 4 - berries, melon
                  rung 5 - wine -
                  rung 6 - beans, hummus
                  rung 7 - other fruits
                  rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                  rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                  Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                  (on to pre-maintenance)

                      Skye: I am posting my measurements for you. This morning I got on my

                      swimsuit and measured. So here they are:

                      -Under arms, around chest 44.5
                      -Fullest part of chest 50.5
                      -Ribcage 45.5
                      -Waist 42
                      -Hips 52.5
                      -Upper arm x 2 R 17 L 17
                      -Thigh x 2 R 29 L 29
                      -Weight 232.5

                      This morning I went to the gym for an hour of water aerobics.
                      Also, I have 60 pushups for thursday, friday, saturday.
                      Today the mailman brought my copy of the DANDR. So I think I am ready to go here. If there is something I left out, let me know.

                        Hi - I haven't been exercising in the past but have just joined an health club so once I have been 'inducted' and shown how to use the machines properly I expect to get started. So far I have been swimming once and done a 'spin' class once and am really looking forward to finding out what kinds of exercise I will enjoy.

                        Is it too late to sign up?

                        I would like to commit for 2 sessions a week to start with, as I am not sure how many times a week I will be able to do yet!!

                        Edited 2nd May to add:

                        -Ribcage : 32.5"
                        -Waist : 33"
                        -Hips : 40"

                          I did so much better with exercise this week than I thought I would. That chart is really inspiring - I WANT to see a smily face under each day! I'm looking forward to doing it for an entire six weeks!
