      Yeah, 6WEC#27 starts June 4th. Each day there will be a new thread started in this forum for you to report your exercise on. If you happen to be the first one to report go ahead and start the thread. Don't be shy. Just title the thread similar to this: 6WEC#27 Week 1, Day 1, Sun, June 4th.

      And yes, whatever exercise you're capable of doing is perfectly ok.

      Welcome to the challenge everyone!

      Also a little reminder that I will be out of town June 2nd to June 7th so I'll have lots of chart updating to do when I get back.

        3 days a week for me. I'm going to start off slow since I'm STRUGGLING in this area. My goal is to do Winsor Pilates 3 X week when it comes in. Until it does, I will do WATP. I will post measurements later.

        Current Stats 47% Body Fat/Goal is 30%
        Not going to be a slave to the scale in 2007!

          Me too, me too!! I'm becoming addicted to these challenges. Well, at least it's better for me than drugs!

          I'll commit to 5 days a week, at least 1 hour a day. Should we list all the exercise that we do - cardio and weights? I'm new to this game!

          I will post my measurements on Monday 6/5, since I am computerless on the weekends.

            #1. Tell us how many days a week you plan to exercise.
            minimun 3 x a week.
            #2. Make a note of your beginning measurements. You do not have to post them here if you aren't comfortable doing that. Just be sure to write them down someplace safe to compare with your measurements at the end of the challenge. Click here for a picture that shows you where to measure.

            My Personal Measurements as of June 5:
            upper chest under arms-43 inches
            chest/bust-47 inches
            chest under bust-37 inches
            upper arm (meaure 1 do x's2) 14.5 inches x 2=29 inches (left)
            waist-39 inches
            hips-43 inches
            thigh (measure 1 and X's 2)-23.5 inches x 2=47 inches (left)
            calf-16.2 inches (left)
            neck-14.5 inches
            wrist- 6.5 inches (left)
            abdomen-44 inches
            ankle-9 inches (left)

              I pledge to do exercise 5/7 days a week for minimum 30 minutes per day.

              Will take my measurements tonight (Saturday) and post them tomorrow.

                skypeep, how about changing my days to 4 instead of 3. not much challenge in doing 3 since i have been doing that for awhile now.

                    -Under arms, around chest : 31"
                    -Fullest part of chest : 35.5"
                    -Ribcage : 29"
                    -Waist : 28"
                    -Hips : 37"
                    -Upper arm x 2 : R:11.25" L: 11.25"
                    -Thigh x 2 : both = 21.5"
                    -Weight : 155 pounds

                        I've been keeping all the measurements I have taken since starting my first 6 week challenge on the same page in a notebook, and boy are the numbers astounding- 33 inches and 34 lbs since Jan 29th! Hope this next 6 weeks is just as eventful! Good luck everyone!

                          Okay, it's Monday and here are my measurements:

                          Current weight: 207.6

                          upper chest under arms-37
                          chest/bust-39 inches
                          chest under bust-33.75 inches
                          upper arm (meaure 1 do x's2) 12.75 inches x 2=25.5 inches (left)
                          waist-32.25 inches
                          hips-45 inches
                          thigh (measure 1 and X's 2)-25.5 inches x 2=51 inches (left)
                          calf-16 inches (each) - 32 inches total
                          neck-forgot to measure
                          wrist- forgot to measure
                          ankle-9.25 inches (each) - 18.5 total

                            me too...139 lbs. Going to drop some pounds this six weeks.
                            149.8/no weigh/ 119



                            1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                            what the rungs mean to me:
                            rung 1 - more veggies
                            rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                            rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                            rung 4 - berries, melon
                            rung 5 - wine -
                            rung 6 - beans, hummus
                            rung 7 - other fruits
                            rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                            rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                            Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                            (on to pre-maintenance)

                              Hi all!


                              I have NOT dropped off the face of the earth so soon after joining! I ended up not only with the flu.. but the headache I was experiencing was not from the flu at all, but from a jaw and tooth problem that required oral surgery.
                              I am somewhat recovered, but I am forced to take the first two days as sick days. Although I did take a walk yesterday, so I guess only one sick day.. hadn't thought of that .

                              I have to be careful at first, but I will walk again today.. and get my measurements today too.

                              I have missed coming here, but I just couldn't even sit up comfortably for awhile.

                              SO.. now I'm back and ready to get serious!
