        Hi, I may have missed your original sign in date but I'd like to be here now. I pledge 7/7, there is always something I can do. I figure if I pledge all 7 I can't get out of more then I planned by saying opps sluged wed but sat is my scheduled day to do nothing...... I may not do hard core workouts all 7 but something physical will happen.

          brats! 7 days! i pledged 4 days last time and did all 7, as a personal challenge,
          ending with 42 days. i figured the same as you, that each day i could at least find 20 or 30 minutes to do something.

          make sure you post in the threads that are already started for sunday thru tuesday to
          let sky know what you have done so far this week.

            Hey Skyy, I walked at a slow pace today for 20 minutes. I had a bad headache, so i don't know if that should be a day off or a sick day. I am ok with either. I pledged 5/7 and have 3 so far and will get my other two in, so whatever you put down is fine. Just let me know what you decide if you don't mind. Thanks.

            after almost 5 months on Atkins and over 63 lbs down! Watch for updates!

              I guess the 6 weeks started on Sunday 25/03, haven't they? I run 70 min on that day. On monday I went to work-out at the Gym and did MA. On tuesday I have my family day - no sports. Wednesday Gym and MA. Thursdays no sports. Fridays Gym. Saturdays no sports. Sundays running. This is basically how I am doing...

                yes, the challenge started on march 25.

                how many days a week are you pledging? sky needs to know that.

                each day you will see a new thread in this forum for each specific day. for example, the thread for today would be titled 6 WEC #34, WEEK 1 DAY 5, THURSDAY, MARCH 25. whatever exercise you did today, make a post in that thread saying what you did. you stated above "no sports" so if it's a rest day just post "rest day".
                if you get to this forum and a thread is not started for the day, you can either start one using the above title for a reference or just wait for someone else to start it. you should be making a post each day, even if it was just a rest day.
                if you are sick, you can tell sky that you are sick.

                if you need any clarification on this. let me know and we review it again, step by step.

                    you don't sound stupid at all. you are new to the challenge and just learning.

                    yes, you get to choose how many days per week.

                    it is for 6 weeks.

                    you don't have to inform anything but what you did. many will post the total miles run and the whole routine and some, like me, will just state the exercise. for examle, i climb alot of flights. so my post might look like this:

                    today i did flights or i mgiht say flights today. simple is okay.

                      Let's take it like in the first grade: If I would say 5/7 that means that I will (or have to) exercise something on 5 days of one week certain week? And if this is done I pledge (was this the word?) for the next week?

                      Or will I have to do 5 days of every week = 5 x 6 weeks = 30 workouts under this period?

                      Wow, this is almost like the counting of points in tennis...

                        star it's really very simple.

                        there are 6 weeks in the challenge. i think you understand that.
                        if you pledge 5/7 days that means you will exercise 5 days each week. you don't repledge, you just continue to do 5 days each week till the challenge is over.

                        here is week 1
                        sunday march 25
                        monday march 26
                        tuesday march 27
                        wednesday march 28
                        thursday march 29
                        friday march 30
                        saturday march 31

                        during those days, you would exercise 5 of them. doesn't matter which ones as long as you do 5. if you pledge 3 days a week, you pick the 3 days, it does not matter.
                        you can do more than your pledge but to gain the award you have to do what you said you would do.

                        the following week
                        april 1
                        april 2
                        april 3
                        april 4
                        april 5
                        april 6
                        april 7

                        you again do whatever days you want as long as you do 5 days if that is what you commit to.

                        repeat this each week for the 6 weeks.

                            Well you did walk so you could call it an exercise day. But if you don't feel it was enough to count as exercise then I'd definitely mark it a sick day. I've marked it as a sick day for now. Lemme know if you want it changed.

                              that would be climbing FLIGHTS as exercise, not fighting... although, it is a fight with myself to do them sometimes. lolol
                              the mountain stuff is the Pledging Flights Challenge. we (me and the other challengers) are climbing virtual buildings and virtual mountains by climbing stairs in our homes, at work, by using the stairs instead of elevators and so on.

                                Hi there...Is it too late to join the challenge??
                                It's April 9th and I realize you have started your third week but I'd love to join...NEED to motivate myself.

                                Should I give you my stats from when you guys started cause I have them or do I measure myself now?
