                              Sick day - back still bad. And bad news re hubby's broken hip. Saw consultant who now says no healing has taken place in over 6 weeks, his hip is a mess and requires full revision surgery. Old artificial hip needs to come out, bony overgrowth has to be removed, cyst excised, fracture need to be wired into place and he won't be able to walk for months and it may not go according to plan anyway. Can't tell you how depressed this has made us feel. And now I can't manage to look after him properly as my back is killing me.

                              Sorry folks! Needed to let off some steam!
