  • 6 WEC #16 Week 2, Day 3 Tues. March 8

    Ramped It Up this morning.
    It was really strange, I got extremely dizzy at the end while doing the yoga. Never had that happen before?

    I just returned from a weekend away where I did work out Friday, Sat and Sun ...four urban hikes of up to six miles of hills and several hours of intentional exercise I am not sure if I need to go to those days and add them or what? today and yesterday were badly needed rest days!!!!

      30 minutes on the treadmill. 2.7mph, 6% incline for 15 minutes and 8% incline for 15 minutes.

        Tonight I WILL do at least 45 min on treadmill (would like to do 1 hr) on level 3 with various inclines.

              DIY again today - a little more fireplace removal and undercoating x 2 and glossing my front and back foor. Had to keep them both open for 6 hours today. It was freezing :sadblinky

                Were you doing a lot with your head down Barb? Or maybe you needed to eat more a bit beforehand. I got like that with the treadmill at the start and fixed it with eating an hour before.

                Did 30 mins HIIT on the farm tracks for me and 30 mins HIIT for my dog. First time I've been jogging with her and got her up to a gallop instead of a trot

                    Woah, I was feeling guilty about not doing "proper" exercise and thought I'd look up painting on fitday - for two hours painting you burn 583 calories! I'm sure I probably did closer to three hours but that's good enough for me!

                    It's irritating because when I do DIY I'm too pooped to do anything else. It also takes up so much of the day - I always seem to do this kind of stuff on my holiday - I must be crazy :confused

                      Barb, if I don't have a snack within an hour before exercise or keep hydrated during my exercise, I sometimes feel dizzy. Maybe a snack and frequent water breaks will help you, too.

                      2.6 miles on 2.5 incline at 3.7 mph + 8 minute buns with 5 lb weights + 8 minute abs video.

                        Catching up for Monday too: Monday turned out to be a non-exercise day since I worked all day and then took a 4 hour flight. By the time I got to my hotel room it was nearly midnight, so no exercise.

                        But Tuesday, today, I'm doing my own 2.5-mile WATP in my hotel room. Got in more than 10,000 steps today.
