  • Sign up for #48 6 Week Exercise Challenge

    The #48 6WEC will begin on Sunday, November 2 and runs through Saturday, December 13.
    Please read the official rules
    Official 6WEC Rules and Where To Measure.
    Sign up!
    1. Tell us how many days a week you plan to exercise.

    2. Make a note of your beginning measurements. You do not have to post them here if you aren't comfortable doing that. Just be sure to write them down someplace safe to compare with your measurements at the end of the challenge. Click here for a picture that shows you where to measure. The following stats are the only ones that will be considered for the ribbon awards.

    -Under arms, around chest
    -Fullest part of chest
    -Ribcage
    -Waist
    -Hips
    -Upper arm x 2
    -Thigh x 2
    -Weight

    Don't forget to check in!
    1. Look for a new thread each day in this forum. It will be titled something like "6WEC#48, Week 1, Day 1, Sunday, November 2"

    2. Tell us whether you exercised, took a rest day or a sick day.

    3. PLEASE try to post daily!

    2 Ways to win something!
    1. The 3 Challengers who lose the most will earn a ribbon. Winners are determined first by inches and then by pounds.

    2. Those who complete all 6 weeks of the challenge without getting slugged will earn a slug free button. Sick days do not count as slugs.

              I am going to try this.. 3 days a week.

              -Fullest part of chest 46 1/4
              -Ribcage 37
              -Waist 48
              -Hips 41
              -Upper arm x 2 15in L 16in R
              -Thigh x 2 23 L 23.5 R
              -Weight 181.5


              I will have hubby recheck these as I did them myself.

                im in for 4 days a week

                my starting measurments:

                -Under arms, around chest : 32.5"
                -Fullest part of chest : 33.5"
                -Ribcage : 30"
                -Waist : 29"
                -Hips : 39.5"
                -Upper arm x 2 : 11.25"
                -Thigh x 2 : 22.25"
                -Weight : 129 lbs

                    I am in for 5 days again. Without this challenge I would not have gotten nearly as much exercise!

                          good to see you back spiritwolf and grant!

                          i've been thinking about my work days, my exercise and have decided for myself that i don't want to count the work labor [although it has been movement and exercise] for this challenge. it's been tough to get my 4 days a week in this last month SOOOO i'm going to drop my days to 3 and not count my work days. those will be added somewhere else but not here.

                              i will add you with no problem. good to see another new face!

                              if you decide to just judge your losses by weight, you won't be eligible for the ribbons but you will be able to earn a slug free button.
                              i just wanted you to be aware of that before we hit our starting date.
