    I hope everyone is having a great day today!

    I'm doing great today... on track, focused, got my water intake for the day down and my exercise!

    I did 40 minutes on the elliptical and 45 minutes of weight training (arms, legs, chest, back and stomach).

    Keep up the great work everyone!

    I have a terrible cold again but managed to squeeze in a 20 minute brisk walk.

      Hi, well, I've done 9 minutes on the elliptical (how in the world can you do 40 minutes, Chynna???? wow.) and plan to put in a beginning bellydance dvd.

      So a brisk walk counts then? I did one yesterday, (all terrain too) because we went out to our property in the mountains, and it felt good out in the quiet open space.

      yeah, I'm on my second 32oz "Dickies" cup of water already! (came from a bbq restaurant) I always make sure that I drink at least 4 of these each day.

        I did my brisk walk, too. For me, it sure does count.

        1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
        what the rungs mean to me:
        rung 1 - more veggies
        rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
        rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
        rung 4 - berries, melon
        rung 5 - wine -
        rung 6 - beans, hummus
        rung 7 - other fruits
        rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
        rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
        Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
        (on to pre-maintenance)

                LOTS of time and workouts, Kellen! lol I worked myself up to the elliptical by using the treadmill first. After about 3 weeks on the treadmill, I was able to tackle the elliptical. I love the elliptical because I use it to do HIIT (high intensity interval training) on. I get double a workout in half the time and I burn just as much calories!

                You're doing great on the elliptical! Keep up the great work and soon you will be able to go 40 minutes like it was no big deal!

                      30 minutes of weight training and stretching and 20 minutes on that evil rowing machine....God, please send me a treadmill instead!!! The rower is more intense and exhausting than a treadmill but I sure would love to trade it in!!

                            8 miles of walking for me.. I think I am gonna walk most of the weekdays, and keep my abs and legs workout 3 days a week
