      just one more day to get in this challenge. i'll start working on the new charts sunday and by then it will be too late.

      for those of you who signed up, don't forget to post [or jot down somewhere] your starting measurements. if you are posting them, use this thread. you will be referred back here when the challenge is over. use the guidelines found in the first post of this thread as those are the ones counted for the ribbons.

        After quite a bit of thought, I have decided that I should up my commitment to 6 days a week, please.

        (there is an extra "g" at the end of my name on the running list if it matters)

                wow do i need to learn to read - i so totally didn't realize this was a SIX WEEK challenge!!! that's ok though - i'm up for it - in fact, it will become a SEVEN week challenge for me! lol.

                seriously - i wanted to see, last week, if I could do 5 days a week and I did!!!!!

                So - at least i know it's not that hard!


                Plus - asides from the gym, I also have a little exercise area set up down in my basement (mats on the floor, tons of DVD's, a step for step aerobics & a 40 pound punching bag).

                so anyways. It's Sunday march 8th and I will have to post again later today as I don't know what happened to my measuring tape! ack!!!

                BUT I just weighed in and my starting weight:

                183.5 (woohoo! down 1.5 for the past week!)

                  Count me in. Going to do 4 days a week.
                  Will post my measurements soon.
                  Starting weight is 225.6.
                  50 Pound Challenge by First Day of Summer!
                  3/8/09 - 224.0 lbs (Start weight)
                  Summer Challenge Goal by June 21st: 174 lbs
                  Ultimate Goal weight: 145 lbs
                  Maintainence weight: 135 lbs

                        Hope I'm not slamming you with my updates over at the Flights challenge! Decided to cut back on the days i update....figure you may need the break lol.

                          don't you worry about me, the flights challenge is actually one of the easier charts to do since i don't have to keep up with each and every flight. all i do is count it done when the challenger tells it's done.

                              Ok, I'm back from grocery shopping and got a new measuring tape.
                              Here are my stats:

                              Right Arm: 12.75 in
                              Left Arm: 12.5 in
                              Chest (w/bra on, over...): 44 in
                              Ribcage: 38 in
                              waist (belly button, as 'loose' as possible): 43 in
                              Hips (mid butt): 43.25 in
                              Right Thigh: 25 in
                              Left Thigh: 25 in
                              WEIGHT: 183.5 in

                              ALSO - asides from challenging myself to exercise 5 x a week for 6 weeks, I'm also giving up ALL artificial sweeteners! (we'll see how long THAT one lasts, lol)
