  • 6WEC #17 Week 2, Day 1, Sun. April 17

Went to my local pool for the first time since I learnt how to swim.

Didn't quite manage a full length (25 metres) but on numerous occasions got more than two thirds of the way.

So I am guessing that I managed to swim approx 120 metres! Not that far, but I have only just managed to be able to swim.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

                        Catch up...

Rest day today and yesterday (Sat and Sun).

If you want to call it rest! I worked 12 hours both days as a nurse in a busy hospital! I think I sat down about an hour or two's worth for both shifts combined! But I didn't get my heart rate up...at least not from exercise...so can't count it.

Ok for today, I did the Walk Away the Pounds express.

1 mile light walk, and 2 mile brisk walk for a total of 3 miles and 50 minutes. Hopefully my shoulder feels better soon so I can get back up to speed.
