I'm in that boat also :wave

I think it is because of years of dieting.... starvation mode... low calorie, no fat diets.

Now this "diet" is working, but very slowly... But at least I can eat well and I think I can keep it off because it has been a whole year.

I lost only 10 pounds in two months of Induction. Hubby is doing it with me and he got tired of Induction food so we went on OWL.
It took me 3 months to lose another 10 pounds... so that is 20 lbs in 5 months.

Then this past 7 months I have lost another 10 pounds... but most of it in the first part. I have really slowed down.

    Hang in there!!!!

You are so right! The more people I hear relate this same experience makes me definitely want to "hang in there". I've got more "time" than "money" so I'm willing to wait it out. LOL

      Thanks, Barbie!!

        Janice you wrote:
Tell me when is a good time to make the "exchange" and I'll start packing Jim and Millie's bags.

Yesterday is good....but don't let me rush you!!!!

But Beware!!!! You may be in for a wild ride! The cat is a young male and extremely rambunctious.....thunders through the house like a herd of buffalo chased by a pack of wolves! Up the stairs down the stairs across the kitchen through the dinning room and practically up the wall and across the ceilings... with my DH in hot pursuit!!! Half the time it's hard to tell who is the bigger miscreant. Frankly, a quiet four footed well trained lady would be a very welcomed respite from the furry cannon ball that goes shooting past here!

Though I must admit that watching those two is a riot! When not chasing the cat, the DH spends his time either in the garden (grows all our lovely summer vegetables) or in front of his computer...so can play quietly on his own, is reasonably well trained (I say we are getting an even trade here) and quite biddable, but does at times have a tendency towards selective hearing and memory!

Bass fishing.....does that mean that a lot of your protein is the delicious crispy type found in the frying pan after a good day on the water?

No, no!!! It's the kind found on the 'baking pan' simmering in seasoning and butter after a good day on the water!!! LOL
