Really, 3 TBSP per day of psyllium husks? I've heard of that high a dosage of the psyllium husks where it's loaded with sugar, but is that it that high for the no-sugar psyllium husks?

Early in Jan I added 1 TBL / day of psyllium husks to my diet and WOW has it made a huge difference. At first I felt bloated and even saw a weight gain of 2# but then things evened out. It does help things flow, KWIM.

Although I'm sure my metabolism isn't what it was at 30, I really can't complain. I was right on target losing 16 pounds in the first two weeks of induction. I lost about 50 pounds all together the first 6 months. Then I had a hysterectomy and stalled, I believe mostly because of inactivity. It has since picked up a little, but it's not a race and I feel great. I have more energy and am taking lots less perscription drugs Many of my health problems have disappeared.

I don't take tons of supplements, but faithfully take my multi-vitamin every day and use flax seed occasionally.
