        Here's to Jamie...our ADBB poster child in the fight against flab. 107 pounds is awesome. No wonder your doctor's jaw dropped. Good for you and congrats on losing the meds!

            That's an awesome and inspirational story!! Way to go, proving your doctor wrong about atkins and everything! Congrats!

            Starting Nov 4th 2009 again at 195
            First mini-goal: 187 by thanksgiving
            Second mini-goal: 181 by Xmas trip to see in-laws in LA, size 14's!

                  Thank you all so much! I'm blushing and I really appreciate all your good vibes!

                  Seeing his face when I told him I was following Atkins after he told me last August not to do Atkins... that was the best! You know, though, the sign of a good doctor is him being proud of me and happy for me. I'm going to miss him when we move.

                  The nurses thought I'd had weight loss surgery!

                  Dr Atkins is the best, isn't he!

                  Not only has he saved my life, but I'm not spending $100 a month in medications any longer! I threw all my meds away!

                  Thank you guys for helping make this day a very special one! I've been on the verge of tears all day because we're moving and I'm becoming nostalgic and hubby's in Colorado right now. Seeing your kind words really makes me smile.
