    Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I avoid fats. I just noticed that some fats have fewer calories than others. Like butter has few calories than olive oil. I make sure that eat only 20 carbs and get the right proportions of fats and proteins but I just do it with a 1400 cal diet.

      You said it was hot and you were sweating. Could it be that you are retaining fluid? What is your salt/sodium intake like?

        Maybe insted of eating less, you might have to eat more to jumpstart things. Just think of it as an hourglass that is slowly getting filled and when it hits the top and dumps over, all that weight will drop from you. Right now, you are just filling it up with sand. So, just do what you know is right and one day, you will be amazed at the difference "overnight"

          Ok, someone just kick me for being so impatient. I had a 3-pound whooshie last night!!!! OMG, I am in the teens!!!

          Also, my abdominal belly (bottom part of my belly) is looking really weird (more than normal--ha!), and I have edema in there (push my finger in and the dent stays), maybe I am about to lose inches from there, eh?

          Well, at least this thread has a happy ending! Thank you everyone for all your wonderful tips!!!

            Vixie, about the butter/olive oil issue, I realize you want to count calories, but if you have the choice between using butter and olive oil (not too much will taste right using olive oil), it is best to use olive oil because it offers so many incredible health benefits. The calorie increase is worth it because olive oil raises your HDL, and that is such a good thing. Just my opinion.
