kkat55-When I first stated, my routine went like this
taebo 1 hr ultimate ab workout
strength training-various weights
tons of crunches
exercise bike
1-2 mile walks on the treadmill
5lbs dumbbell arm workout
(I did make sure that I switched it up a lot)
Now it goes like this
taebo 1 hr ultimate abs workout
strength training-various weights
still tons of crunches
exercise bike and regular 10 speed bike
3-4 mile walks
3 mile runs
I have been running now for about a month. I really started losing my stomach and rolls when I added that in. It really seems to help things along a little more.
Also, I don't think that you should take a break from exercise. Talk to your doctor and see if he/she has any idea what may be causing the sweeling and bruising in your legs/ankles. There are tons of exercises that you can do that do not involve much walking. Make sure you are building some kind of muscle (it burns fat faster)
