  • Getting Extremely Frusturated

    K so my weight was down to 187 then it went to 190 to i88 to 193 it's all over the place I weighed this morning the same as I weighed 2 months ago 193. I am watching what I eat added more salad veggies my ratios are good. I am exercising 6 days a week running 1 hour 5 days a week and weight training 1 hour 3 days a week GOOD LORD. I am getting pissed it would be one thing if this weight stayed constant but, the fluctuations suck and NO I ahven't lsot even 1 damn inche But I lost .5 bodyfat according to my last Bioelectical measure of BF. I am sooo FRUSTURATED and really I just needed to Vent. not going anywhere just talking about it makes me feel better.

    Don't be frustrated my little cheerleader! I don't have any answers for you. You are awesome though. You've been doing so great. You exercise an awful lot though (well, compared to me). Could it be your body holding onto extra fluids on the days you exercise more? If you're doing everything right then don't worry about it. You know things will sort themselves out soon. Besides, we're not supposed to listen to that evil scale. Where's that picture of you in the sexy dress? That tells the whole story right there. {{{{{{{Sarah}}}}}}}

        OKay. I know that when your frustrated with this, it's hard to listen to everyone say "It's gonna be okay, Don't worry about it...Blah Blah Blah." Been there...

        But Really, It IS gonna be okay, DON'T worry about it. You have fought so hard to get to where you are. This is just a bump in the road. It will only make you stronger, I promise. You have been there and done it. Your results are absolutely amazing, and you worked hard for them. They didn't come easy, and getting over this bump won't be either. It will be frustrating, and it hurts. You look at how hard you worked to get the scale to move, and now it's bouncing back up. I would be upset too.

        Has your body done this before? Is TOM near? I would check the veggies you are adding. Perhaps they have more sodium than your body is used to, and it's causeing your body to retain water. Just hang in there, just like you've been.

          Sarah. I am in the same boat. For a lot longer....
          The only thing I can figure is to cut back on my cheese! Waaah!
          So I am giving that a try. It is harder than I thought! Cheese is the perfect, easy to grab snack for me and I am trying really hard to find something to replace it!

            Well Barbe I am sure we can both get through this Stall Darn it. I have upped my exercise by adding in the Weight lifting. And the stuff I ahve added is basically Romain Lettuce and a bout 1?4 cup of pees I was fluctuating before I added that though. TOM is right up around the corner it has been so screwed Been spotting all month which really sucks. I know I can get throuhg this I just hope my Body decides it's all right to do so soon.

                      Yeah. That's how I have to keep looking at it Wanna, otherwise I would have given up a long time ago! I think you are probably right about the exercise, but geez! Seems like the body has to get it and give up some time???

                          I'm sure someone here can help. Looking at your overall success, you have to know more about this than I do. Keep us posted on how you get through this, because when i get to a stall I'm gonna be looking for some help.

                            I know how you feel Sarah. I'm doing the same darn thing. I will see 189, then I'm 190 or 191 for a few days. It is so frustrating. I think my problem is yeast. Every time I run out of Candex that I was taking, I stop losing. I'm off tomorrow to get some more. The stuff is so darn expensive! I also think that I have been over doing the cheese. That is gone for awhile.

                            We just need to keep telling ourselves that we are not gaining fat and that's important. This was the first holiday season that I didn't gain 10 pounds. It seems that every time I complain about not losing to you, I end up having a loss the next day. I'm hoping that it works for both of us this time. (((Hugs)))

                              I seem to have a pattern - lose a bit (1-2 kg), then nothing for another month until after TOM, then lose a bit more. I am cutting out carrots (which I love) and, from today, my half coffees (and half decaff) - I was having 2 a day. I'll see if that makes a difference. Starting resistance work Saturday too. Hang in there kid, at least you are further along than me, I've still got almost 2/3 rds of mine to go!
