Hi all!
I knew when I joined this site that I would be more of a occcasional lurker than a well known, suportive member. *sigh* I just can't seem to stick
with a group on the web.
I do come back often to read the posts and occasionally post a reply but mostly I just lurk *LOL*
Anyway - I am doing really well though! I am still going to they gym! Which is a big surprise to me! I honestly didn't think I would stick with it! I can't manage to go 7 days a week but I do at least 5 and most weeks 6 days a week! I did my first step/abs/hi-low class on Friday and boy are my muscles soar! I am going again tomorow though!
I have developed a real craving for the stair master! Can you believe it? I love the challenge and the work out it gives me! Not to mention the effect it is having on my legs and tushy!!
Anyway -- I am losing about 1.5lbs a week. I knew it would slow down but I am a bit disappointed in how slow. I am still drinking all my water and sticking to strict 20 carbs or less daily.
I have taken on a great interest in the effects of food and excercise on my body and my it really empowering to know that I making a life change!
My husband is doing well too! He has lost 29lbs so far -- but he isn't excercising... I am working on that!
I hope hope hope I can make my mini-goal of 200lbs by the start of May --when we go to Disney World!
Anyway -- that is my update! Hope everyone else is doing well too!
