OH my gosh, I feel like I don't know anything about shopping for bras. LOL when I was 12 mom took me to the store, handed me a box and we paid for it and walked home.
I'm tired of my bras sliding up my back and my girls falling down below but I think I would be too embarrased for someone to measure me. I saw that Oprah episode where it was about bras fitting the correct way. I have not purchased anything since then, I just thought I would get a bigger cup and go down to a 42 since I was wearing a 44D.
Did anyone else see that Oprah?
Lord, my dream is to lose this weight and to be healthier.

No, but I think most women are walking around in the wrong size bra...I'm willing to bet that I am. But my attitude right now is to wait until I'm closer to goal, and then get fitted and invest in some really nice bras.
On that site I posted there is a bra fitting guide http://www.indulgefashion.com.au/dep...seed&id=225985. Under the pixture it says "Bra size converter". use the drop down box to select your country. Then input the size you think you are - most of us have a reasonable idea.
For mine, Australian 18F, it says "Measurements around your back and directly underneath your bust should be 35-36 inch and your cup should be 7 inch more than your band size." It also shows me my size in US/UK/Fr/Eu. This will enable you to measure yourself for an accurate band sixe (no dropping through) and know pretty accurately what cup size.
The lady did not actually measure me. We tried the 18E first, she discreetly withdrew while I put it on, then offered her opinion that the F cup would be better and more comfortable for me, and she was right. The E has a slight bulge over the cup front, the F is perfect.
Your bra riding up is very bad for your back, and most uncomfortable. The band measurement under the breasts is the size, for me 36" or 18, then yopu adjust for cup size.
Good luck, ladies.
Tamariah, sorry to hijack the thread but it does still concern mirrors! Plus it's something I think every larger lady has concerns about, whether they are a big cup fitting or not.
