    I have about 140 pounds to lose and hope to have at least half of that off by July - do you think that I am thinking too big (or small!)?

    I am ready....I have my glass of water in one hand and my rolled up piece of chicken in the other!

      I don't really care what the team name is. My only suggestion would be "losers" over "loosers".

      I'll be out until around the 18th. Will catch up then.

          :wave I just checked the board and found that I am one of your new teammates. I will be taking "official" measurements on the 11th---do we have to post them for all too see??? :yikes I haven't had a waistline since I was like maybe 12.....I have around 90# to lose give or take a few.....Currently around 228 after an initial loss of 2#.....

          Anywhoo, I am glad to be surrounded by such a supportive group of people....

          Like we used to say when I was in junior high---"It's on like Donkey Kong!!"

            Slim; Wow....that depends on if you are a fast looser? My overall average is less than 2 pounds a week, but again, it all depends!

              I'm going to be a weak link for you guys. But then again, considering someone else already dropped out, I can't be all that bad. I won't be quitting, I'm just a slooooow loser, as proven by the past year. ONe, two thre months go by and maybe I've lost 3 lbs. Then I'll lose 20 lbs in the next month. Hopefully this year will be full of 20 lb. months.

                Piasabird: Why do you have to drop out??? Why-why-whhhyyy? Please don't feel like you have to be running back here all the time. If you're continuing to do Atkins, then really, you're still in the challenge. And this way you'll be doing Atkins with a whole bunch of wonderful people cheering for you!                 Ang: The speed you lose (or loose, whichever) is not important. The important thing is to hang in there. and since this competition is six months, then you'll get a good month or two in there somewhere.

                    As I sit here watching Fear Factor, I'm not sure I will be able to eat my last meal of the day.......fish eyeballs just don't really appeal to me...

                    I'm not much of a poster, more of a bystander...just wanted everyone to know that I'm still here.......

                        Hello all! I've been assigned to team 4, so I am dutifully checking in for my orders!

                        Let's see....July, eh?? Well, my first goal is to be under 200 and I'd really like to do that by late May, so I'll go with a 40 pound loss by the first of July?
