well I haven's posted.. but I've kept 120oz min daily since the pledge.. I't so much easier for me to have a cup (like this mcdonald's 40oz) and finish 3 ASAP -- every time I get into the kitchen I drink a half of it..) .. Sometimes after that I keep drinking .. If I don't, my lips get chapped. definitely my body is getting used to it.. I just make sure to watch my potassium and magnesium intake.. .. and I feel great. Constipation (I'm on extended induction) is at bay, and I love the way I feel overall, and the appearance of my skin as well.. I encourage you all to drink it up as soon as you can I the day...

I understand the importance of water, I'm an EMT and I'm in nursing school, but I have a question.
In this WOL, does drinking 80 oz of water vs 128 oz make a big difference in the weight loss? I know the water is important because of the H2O molecules being depleted with fat cells during ketosis. I am really curious if anyone out there has noticed a drastic difference?
I pledge to drink 128 oz of water daily. I'm very close to that now. I haven't noticed a significant more rapid decrease in weight (its been about 2 weeks).
Hi, Genevieve. I don't know the answer to your questions, but I've read here that we should be drinking 64 oz. of water daily + 8 oz. for every 25 pounds we're overweight. My guess is that the more we drink, the more toxins we flush out of our bodies. That's just a guess though.
I pledge to drink at the very least 100 oz. per day.
