Well, Having just gone to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and this past weekend Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure I can say that "at least I fit" on everything... just barely.
At Disney, all the "snug" rides were snug, but going through the turnstiles was the worst. I got stuck a few times.
Then I finally realized I should go through the "handicap" door thingys.
At Universal, there weren't alot of attractions to squeeze into. I didn't go on the Mummy ride as my son was too short but they had seats out front of the ride to sit in to make sure you fit. Now... the seats looked big, but... since I don't think I really understand just how big I've gotten, I am glad I didn't have to sit in them. And how humiliating. I wish they would have had them over to the side somewhere. But everyone can see you try to sit in them. I'm glad it was a mute point.
At Islands of Adventure was the worst. I just barely squeezed into the rides. And I mean I squeezed. It was definitely not comfortable and I hope too many weren't looking.
I definitely got a few scrapes and bruises trying to get in and out. What a reality check. If someone happened to be bigger than me, they definitely wouldn't be able to get on most of the rides. I find that sad.
So, I am even more revved up to lose weight. I don't want to miss out on anything just because I am too fat. This experience just reminded that I could.
I do see a glimmer of hope for getting on the airplane now. I have about a month and 1/2 to go. If I could fit on all of the rides at the theme parks, by then I should be able to at least squeeze into the airplane seat. At least I'm hoping.
So... I will have to pump up the exercises more. It's been extremely hot here and I haven't been able to walk like I'd planned. I am having to find other alternatives. So... that's it for now. I gotta go get some more water.
