Re: Don't Wait for 2008! - Century Club Challenge

I would like to join the group. Today my weight was 288 so I am going to say that I can lose 15 pounds by the new year because I just got off of induction and lost 17 pounds in less than three weeks. I think I may start slowing down. So 273 is my goal just to be safe. If I go over, better for me!

This is the second time trying Atkins and hopefully this time it will be a permanent life change for me.

Checking in Just noticed we are required to weigh in once a week. I gotta get a new scale. This one has a mind of it's own. on the bright side, if you get on realllllly slowly, it will go to 180 and stick there!! Lookie see, 100 pounds down without any effort
        Ebay, here I come

haha...yes, I just had to buy a new scale too. Mine broke and weighed me way less than I actually was! I found a Weight Watchers scale at WallyWorld for about $30 that says it's accurate up to 350 pounds. And let's hope I never get over 350 again!

Looks like you got it to work, chicklady.

But for anyone else who wants the graphic, just copy and paste into your siggy.

How is everyone doing this week?

I'm a little worried about today. I'm taking my students on a 'community based instruction' trip to Pizza Hut. Hope I can pass up the temptation of eating a slice of pizza. I'm doing good so far this week and the scale seems to be moving down. My official weigh in is Monday so I still have some time to lose a few more pounds.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

Yes, that's what I'll have to do....just snag some pepperonis I think I might grab a salad from the lunchroom before we go so at least I'll have something to munch on while everyone else is eating and won't be tempted to order my own personal pan.

Doesn't Pizza Hut still have a really nice salad bar? I managed one for 7 years, but that was in the late 80's early 90's. We even had hard boiled eggs on them back then.

No, not this pizza hut. It's a fast food pizza hut...they only serve personal pan pizzas and breadsticks. They share a space with KFC. Hmmm...maybe KFC has salads. I'll look that up.

How did everyone's day go? I managed to get through lunch at pizza hut. Luckily, KFC had a chicken salad on their menu. It was hard to pass up pizza, it really was, but I realized it's just so not worth it! Well time to go clean house.
