Re: Don't Wait for 2008! - Century Club Challenge

Liz, I'm joining a little late, but would like jump in, if you don't mind. I'm so glad to see you started this challenge -- great motivation and accountability, for you and everyone!

I would like to be at a total of 100 pounds lost by new years day, which would be 185.

Checking in, lost 3 this week, so I am -3/22 for my challenge. Wishing everyone a great low carb day.

Re: Don't Wait for 2008! - Century Club Challenge

Good morning CC'ers I had to have my cup of Java before I checked in. I'vwe reduced my coffee from about 70 ounces a day down to 40. Next week, i'm gonna start mixing in half decaf with my morning brew and see if I can wean myself..... my last, and hardest, addiction (well food wise, we won't talk about the cigarettes) to let go of. It's been what, 4 years, and I can't get my body used to working nights and sleeping days.

290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

                  Somebody help please!!

I made a mistake in my initial post. I was a little overzealous in my goal for New Years and need t make an edit please. Should read like this:

                  CW: 268 11/18/07

Goal for New Years Day: 250

Not 240... Jeeezzz I would have to lose over half a pound a day for that one!!

Sure would be nice but a little unrealistic for sure...

Hey guys! Gosh I'm gone for a day and come back to new members and weight losses. YAY!

Adena, I'm so glad you're joining us! Perfect! It'll be great having you around seeing as you've been so successful on this WOE. I know it hasn't been easy but your hard work has paid off. I can't wait till you meet your 100 pound mark! We'll be celebrating with you!

Welcome to the challenge Chopper. I've got you covered...will put your goal down for 250 and if you reach 240, it'll be a nice suprise for you. Congrats on the losses Purplecat and Bluebelt, I will update the stats page (first page of thread) right now.

Hope everyone is having a great day. I won't be able to weight in officially until next Monday, 26th, but unofficially the scale is moving in my favor. Hope to get through my week vacation without too much damage.

Your right it's 245. I just edited that post when I realized my mistake. I was at 259.5, not 259.2. My scale doesn't have ounces on it. I know, but an ounce is an ounce, Hehe. Thank you LIz!

How is everyone doing this week? I have been enjoying my week off work, but have found that having so much free time is not a great thing for my diet. When I'm bored I tend to eat. Just trying to stick with legal snacks.

I wasn't able to weigh in yesterday and I'm dying to know what the scale says, but it'll have to wait for next Monday. There is a group of us at school (4 of us) that all work out together and weigh in together with our school's PE coach. The PE coach keeps a log for us. We each put $5 in the pot and the biggest loser each week gets the $20. I've won 3x so far! It's such a supportive group.

Well I went to the gym yesterday and did the one-hour kick class. It kicked my butt! I'm headed home (to my parent's house) today so I won't be getting to the gym anymore this week.

                              Hope everyone is doing well.
