Re: Century Club - Springing Into Action!

    Thanks Austlyn!

I have to admit I do this more for myself than anything. Heading up this challenge HOLDS MY BIG BUTT accountable. I can't just abandon y'all now can I?

I dont know if this is the best time to be joining this challenge as I think I mentioned earlier this week I seem to be in a stall and I think I may have gained a pound. It's so sad too because I am hovering just above my first mini goal
Im not sure why the stall but I would absolutely hate to get to spring and still be where Im at now.

Ohh I want that first mini goal soo bad I can taste it!!!

Don't worry Suga, I'm sure it's just temporary. Do you post your daily food anywhere?

        1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

You're welcome Bluebelt. I have fun doing it.

Suga, this is the PERFECT time for you to be joining this challenge. We can help support and encourage you as you make your way to your spring goal. I've felt the same frustrations as you... working so hard, staying on plan, and not seeing the results on the scale. Stick with it. If you're eating right the weight will come off. Just be patient. I know it's easier said than done. But stressing and beating ourselves up over the pounds on the scale will not help in the long run. It's only going to make you frustrated and possibly lead you to give up. Just take things one day at a time. Review your menu, make sure you're "clean," get your excersice in, and take pride in yourself knowing your becoming a healthier you! We're all rootin' for you!

HI and thanks for the welcome, I am excited about this challenge !!!!!
                            Okay, here goes,
my current weight as of this morning is 246 pounds.
I set my goal weight loss at 1.5 pounds a week which would make my goal weight for March 21 at 229.5 which will be exciting to see !!
I am going to commit to 30 minutes a day of excercise, wihch comes to 2280 as I counted the days from today through the 21rst which comes to 76 days counting today . I have sciatica and have to start slow but I can do that, even if it is two 15 minute sessions a day.
I plan to walk mainly and then do some other excercises too, but those will be on top of the 30 minutes a day. I do not want to promise more than I can do, but want to do as much as I can at the same time.
I am very excited about this challenge and look forward to seeing how we all do !!!

Okay, just to let everyone know, I've decided to increase my exercise minutes. I decided I needed to really challenge myself on this. I'm committing to 5 hours/week, for 11 weeks, so 3,300 minutes of exercise, which will mostly be group classes at my gym (groove, kick, power, and interval)
