Re: Century Club - Springing Into Action!

Hey everybody. I'm joining in. Finally got my thoughts together and got on the scale too.
My start weight for today is 256. I think I can realistically do 25 pounds down to 231.

And for exercise goal, put me down for 3000 minutes. That should get me going again. Sheesh, I was doing so great in the spring and now have to start over again. Okay, that's all the negative talk for now!!

Anyway, sounds like fun ... and thanks so much Liz for doing it!!

All right ......... for anybody reading this ... go have a drink right now!!

Re: Century Club - Springing Into Action!

Wow! Just got home and had so much to catch up on. Thanks for updating all your stats guys. I'll make all the changes ASAP.

Adena, it's no problem, you can just get me your starting weight tomorrow.

As for me, I weighed today and was up 1.4 pounds from my last weigh-in 2 weeks ago. I was so discouraged . I worked my butt off over Christmas and didn't cheat once. I was hoping for a big loss. Oh well, all I can do is keep pressing forward. So my new starting weight will be 333.2 and my goal will be to lose 28 pounds...putting me at 305.2!

I did feel better after going Gold's today! I have such a great support group there. The instructors are so encouraging and genuine. I feel so at home there. SO, I'm happy to report I did 120 minutes of exercise today! One hour of Power and one hour of Kick.

Can't wait for all of us to start progressing towards our spring goals!!

Re: Century Club - Springing Into Action!

Way to go Liz. That's a lot of minutes on the first day. I'm sitting here trying to get motivated to do some situps and pushups here at my house. I haven't done a pushup in 13 years. I am joining a gym later this week.

Re: Century Club - Springing Into Action!

Thanks Rob. Haha, I hadn't done push-ups or crunches for as long as I could remember until I joined Gold's Gym. Now I do them everyday at the end of kick class. They still kick my butt, but I can definitely tell an improvement from the first days I tried doing them. Good for you for joining a gym. It's one of the best things that I could have done for myself. I actually enjoy exercising now!! Can't believe I'm saying that. lol But I really, really do.

Put me down for 30 minutes today. We went for a hike cause it was so gorgeous out. I know we were out there a lot longer than 1/2 hour, but I have no idea how long! Most of the woods behind our house had enough snow melted to make it an easy hike, but we still had to crawl through some areas of snow....that really works your calf and thigh muscles...
Supposed to be just as nice tomorrow and we may do it again
