    Good morning CCers. I had to stop and think about what day it was! It's definitely bedtime.

    Two more days till the challenge starts. Is everbody ready?





    290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

    Good morning Chicklady and my other fellow CC'ers. Just got back to gym, looks like it's gonig to be a nice day around here. Hope everyone has good day.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

              Good Morning CC'ers. I just got home from the gym. I did my 1hr. kick class. It was great. I'm glad I dragged my butt out of bed this morning to go.

                Checking in. Day 4 of induction and the metallic taste has arrived. Ketosis My wife just bought me a new scale she should have it home in a while. Now I'll know where I am really at as far as weight.

                I cheated last night I had a Diet Coke and Crown Royal. Shouldn't throw me off too bad. I have a whole bunch of excuses, but none of them matter.

                  Ahhh the metalic taste. Yummm. I'm sure the experience varies by person, but mine faded after a while.....although my pee still smells.....sorry if thats TMI

                      Yep, those will cover that ketosis smell Good for ya though! Try 'em sauteed and sprinkled with some gorganzola. When you get to the nut stage, add some chopped roasted hazelnuts too.

                        Do you guys use the little sticks to pee on to see if your in ketosis? I used them the first time around on Atkins, but haven't tried them this time. I'm thinking about getting some. Do you guys feel it's worth it?

                            I don't use the strips, I dirink so much water they never work. Today was a good day, I went to the gym this am, burned 400 cal on the eleptical trainer, then had lunch with my mother ( who I have not seen in 8 years ) who proceeded to tell me " Is that all your going to eat" LOL I had a julienne salad, and was full, she had fried fish with bread and cottage cheese, and salad Off to set up for a bridal show I am in tomorrow.
