I plan on getting with it. My loss has really slowed down to a turtles pace. It could be partly because I have 24 more pounds to go. But I need to get with the program. So I am going to need to do some finetuning!
Any thoughts on how you all are going to make more progress? Looking back at the numbers so far, You all are making great progress. I need to do better to help you, SEXY SIXERS. I am doing well in the inches part, but the weight loss, I am lagging back!!! I gotta pump it up!!!

Hi everyone! I was away all weekend at a curling bonspiel and had a blast. We even made it to the finals! It was very exciting. All of the meals were provided, and there was so much food, I was able to eat totally Atkins. The only thing that was difficult was drinking the amount of water I usually do. It takes about 2 hours to play a game of curling, and you really can't be running off the ice to pee. I did manage to get 2 litres a day in, but I usually drink 4. Oh well, I'm back at it now!
Looks like we're all doing great in terms of losing weight and inches. I'm just gonna keep doing what I'm doing!
Just checking with some yucky news. My knee is a mess! It's sore and swollen. I guess just too much curling over the weekend. I did upper body weights yesterday, which means a run today, but I'm not doing it. I think I'll be able to swim tomorrow, but I'll have to skip my lower body weights, and probably my Thursday run too. Hopefully I can spin on Friday. What a drag it is getting old.......
Enough of poor me! How is our team doing?

I have tried to run a little when I walk outside and the last time I did this my right knee really hurt. So now I am wondering if I should wait til my weight is much less before I try this again? You know I will be 55 in June, maybe I should just stick with the walking. ensive
I don't know what curling is. I gather from your post that you do this sport on the ice. Is it kinda like ice hockey?

This morning I have got my sewing machine out and I am taking up my clothes. Sure is a good feeling to me taking them up and not letting them out. WOO HOOOO!!!!!
Hope everyone is feeling sexier and more alive as the days go by. I am in a hurry (as usual these days) but wanted to pop in and say I am still alive and kicking or walking. My husband was home for almost 2 weeks and although he left today -- so I may be around more often. I plan on it.
But, it was wonderful to have him home and he complimented me more than I deserved. He told everyone how happy he was that I'd lost weight and he actually talked to me about things. (Anyone who knows me from before knows my husband does not talk...an occassional grunt or nod, but that's about all). Anyways, we had a few great talks and walks and he seemed to be staring at me all the time. I felt great. But, now he is gone and I can get even more serious about beefing up the exercise and hanging out more in the ADBB.
You all sound like you're doing wonderful. Our measurements were great for the first round. I want to try to lose even more inches by the March 11th weigh in.

Hope everyone is gearing up for a fun weekend. I went to the store this morning and replenished my salad foods, as there is supposed to be more snow this weekend. I will have to do my walking at the gym cause I don't do snow.
I'm still holding steady at 185 pounds, so going to re-evaluate my plan and see if I can get the number to start moving again. I usually do this at the end of every month anyways.

I need to re-evaluate my plan too. I seem to be stuck at 199.
I am having a problem of wanting to graze on allowed foods. I need to first ask myself if I am hungery or bored. I know the answer to this is mostly bored.
I have been grazing on a red bell pepper, spaghetti squash(plain), and jicama. What I have eaten with the rest of the day so far is counting up OK on fitday.com, but I am noticing that it is more a binger eating pattern. :no Any of you having this same problem?
I have 24 more pounds to lose to get to goal and it seems like I am scared to get there. Now that is wierd. I have worked so hard getting this far and now I am getting nervous, wonder why!
I am just thinking outloud.
I will get back into the groove and not eat until I am hungery.
