    Good afternoon all! I feel full of energy and greatly looking forward to my gym workout after work today. It's kind of exciting to be around so many other people wanting to be healthy and fit. It's a great encouragement. Have a great day and thank you for the CC.

            HI everyone...Checking in...LATE but I'm here. I feel like crap, I didnt get to the gym this weekend...and just feel yucky bcause I didnt...I think I'm getting addicted to exercize...I never thought I'd say that...lol....anyway...

            I have to say GREAT JOB BLUEBELT...You are looking awesome...52 lbs in 3 mos...WOW!!!
            & your a police seargent (<-- spelling???) MEOW...LOL...Ive always had a thing for cops...then I marry a firefighter...go figure...anyway congrats to you & everyone else!!!

                I don't always get here in the morning, but I've gotten in a habit a reveiwing my day when I sit down to do fit day and have some quiet time in my study before bed. Accountability has been pretty important to me at the end of the day during my time with Atkins.

                It was a great weekend for me. It snowed today and the last thing I wanted to do is walk, but I put on my boots and dressed in layers and wrapped a scarf around my neck and wore a dorky hat and my mittens, but I listened to my iPod and walked and stayed warm, if not refreshed with the snow blowing at me! Hot tea and some soup was just what I needed when I got home.

                Sundays have been my prep day for the week since I first began Atkins and four years later that hasn't changed. I cleaned and prepped my veggies (some for stir fry) & greens, made a Broccoli and Cauliflower Soup, boiled about a dozen hard boiled eggs for snacks and salads, made some meatballs, some quiche breakfast muffins and made three pizza crusts (the egg based one) and froze them for a quick dinner (just throw the cheese, veggies and meat on it and bake).

                            Irish, I too think that's an awesome idea. Maybe that's what I should start doing because I hate cooking during the week. I always get home from the gym late and end up throwing something together. Sundays might just be my prep day from now on. lol

                            Jammie, I know what you mean about becoming addicted to the gym. I am loving it. I only wish I would have discovered my love for exercise sooner. I used to loathe any form of exercise but now I can honestly say I enjoy it! Who'da ever thunk it! lol What type of exercises do you do at the gym? The machines or group classes? Just curious.

                            Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the evening. It's bed time for me.

                              Liz, I know Iwas just talking on the phone to my husband ...and we both said the same thing you did "why didnt we start this sooner." Than we both agreed that if your gonna be addicted to somethin exercize is a good thing to be addicted to. lol.

                              I have just been riding the bike there really...next month I will step up to the treadmill...then the next month maybe the eliptical (that thing is rough...I tried it once and could only do like 2 mins...and couldnt wait until the guy showin me how to use it walked away so I could get off it...LOL.

                              I would like to try a class but Im scared I dont have the stamina yet. I dont want the class to start and then have to walk out cause I cant hack it...hats off to you though...I see your posts everday when your headin to your cardio kick class...I hope to get there soon.

                              Have a kick butt week!!! ha ha
