    Okay...ready for a CLEAN induction. Went shopping last night and bought legal foods...
    boiled me a couple eggs for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch, some pork rinds in case I get the munchies.
    Tonight we are suppose to join the gym (partner got the release from the doc on Friday)..so we are ON!!
    I'll post my starting weight tomorrow.

      That's great thumper!

      Did you set up a menu for yourself? I've found this time around that having a complete 3 meal + 2 snack menu has been so much easier when it comes to eating and staying on track.

        Morning fellow Cc'ers,
        Havent been able to post for a couple of days. I came within 3/4lb of meeting my first mini goal which was 249. Unlike many other times before, I didn't give up but became MORE determined. My daughter is doing great also. We are seeing results and she has gotten her first notice of weight loss from someone. Good luck to you all!

          Oooops! I just noticed that I had reset my mini goals and listed my first one as 250, rather than 249!
          So that means I DID MEET MY FIRST MINI GOAL!!!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE

              Great Job KyGurl on meeting your mingoal.

              Good Luck Thumper on your clean induction and joining a gym, great choices.

              What I know:
              1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
              2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
              3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
              4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                Good Morning CCers! Hope you all are doing well.
                I posted some starting pics from Dec 15th and then some pics that I took yesterday in my journal......you can see them here

                I can see a difference........it's a start. My husbands are there too. He is really encouraged after seeing them and so am I. I just wish I had started Atkins so much sooner. I could be at goal if I started a year ago instead of waiting!

                  Good morning all! Yes, it is actually still morning!

                  Some great weight losses going on here! Has anyone added up what we've lost on the spring challenge? (I probably missed it---sometimes I have brain cramps )

                  I'm sitting on my butt today and watching a movie I recorded last night. Later this afternoon, I'll take my walk . Have a good one!!

                    morning everyone....

                    looks like my weight is moving down again...I will be extending induction....I feel fine and I don't feel ready to start adding foods yet.

                    thanks for all the inspiration...I am glad I didn't give up!!!

                      UGH! I have been busting my tail at the gym, 1 hour of cardio a day, 5 times a week for the past 3 weeks, and I am up 3 pounds!! I have lost 3/4 of an inch on my waist, but friggin A....I always said that I would be happy at a size 10, even if the scale said I weight 300 pounds. I LIED!!!!! I want the freaken scale to move DOWN!!!! SO why am I busting my *** every day? My numbers are good, maybe a touch to much cream in my cofffee every day, but not enough that it would stop weight loss.

                      Ok just had to vent

                        It's still morning in Sherri land

                        Wishing all the CC'ers here a great low carb day. Remember this isn't a race or even a diet. It's a LIFESTYLE! As long as you're doing everything correctly, the weight will melt off. When I initially lost my 155 pounds, there was a time when I had a stall for 36 days. I reffered to DANDR for support. I didn't know this board existed. I didn't see in the book where I could change anything that I was already doing. I held strong, I continued with my woe and wol and the weight started falling off again. I lost 100 pounds in ten months. It takes time for your body to adjust it's weight when exercising, it will fluctuate up and down when building muscle and retaining water to protect our muscles and joints. Just be consistant with your woe and follow the rungs correctly, drink water, water, water. Read your book DANDR and reffer to it often. Look for support here. BE KIND TO YOURSELF! The weight Will Come Off!

                        Momofthree, I understand your frustration. You're so much healthier by going to the gym and working out like that. Did you take measurements of yourself before you started? Sounds to me like you're building muscle. You may be retaining water as well when building muscle. When the scale doesn't move, the tape measure becomes a better friend. I think you're doing awesome. Your commitment to the gym alone is golden!

                          Good afternoon all! Congrats to everyone's losses. I love that Atkins not only allows us to become more healthy individuals but that it also really provides a way fr us to reprogram our old habits with healthy new ones. I weigh tomorrow. I'm so excited to see how I've done but I'm trying not to have any preconcieved notions. I'm in this for the long run.

                            MOrning all !

                            Day 5 w/out Starbucks and the withdrawls are still hitting me, I'm a real JOY to be around and the headaches come/go all day long.

                            Starbucks = CRACK I did not realize how harsh quitting was giong to be

                            Good news my post induction pause/gain is over and weight is going back down still, clothes getting looser every day even my freaking watch is too loose

                              Momof3...you sound JUST like I did several weeks ago. I was busting my tail at the gym, sometimes 2 to 3 hours a day and got NO results. I was so frustrated. BUT I stuck with it, kept track of everything in Fitday, and it paid off. Give your body time to adjust. It's AWESOME that you are working out! Keep it up. Don't let it discourage you.

                              It's great to see everyone around the board today.

                              I'm headed to the gym in a few. I'm taking Power and Kick tonight. My muscles are getting sore just thinking about the power class! lol It should be fun. Have a great night, everyone!
