    i'm here yet again.. another day.. still have that positive attitude though!! this weight is going to fly off!! I would really appreciate some reccommendations from you guys. I haven't been eating much of anything but I haven't lost in a few days and I haven't even been consuming much so I don't understand how that's possible. I'm following Atkins (extended induction) but have been sticking to mostly cheese (3oz or so a day), eggs, and chicken. What are some other healthier induction friendly food i can add to my diet to maybe increase my weight loss?

      what I did was start with the acceptable food list then go to Linda's Recipes http://genaw.com/lowcarb/recipes.html and figure out what I liked and an induction friendly way to make it..

      one of my favorites is "homefries" made with radish instead of potatoes, chopped onion and garlic and oregano...I like these with my eggs. I also make the cauliflower mashed potatoes, fried chicken made with egg and crushed pork rinds, "fettucine" made with zucchini (LOVE that) .

      my newest recipes:

      I used Lindas recipe for tuna muffins and added 2 eggs to make 12 servings instead of 6....instead of tuna and cheddar, I use crumbled Italian sausage and mozzarella...before baking I top it with 1/2 tsp of Walden Farms Bruscetta sauce and press it in, it's an Atkins "hot pocket"

      I make "noodles" by slicing zucchini lenthwise with a potato peeler then slicing again lengthwise to get strips...I sautee those til they are noodle-like then serve them "Amatraciana" which I make by sauteeing together, Walden Farms Bruscetta sauce, cooked chopped bacon or pancetta, diced onion, red pepper flakes and olive oil, then top with parmesan cheese.

      I make my own hot wings by cooking the wings or tenders (baked or fried, no breading) and then dowsing with Franks Hot Wing Sauce with a side of Marie's Blue Cheese (0carb)

      Lindas recipes are great. I either use the recipes as written, or get ideas for new things.

        Hi everybody,

        Hope everyone had a great day. I worked out for 2 hours today (making up for the weekend)...and I am whooped & going to bed early. Scale hasnt moved this week, but Im not sweating it...I know it will. I havent taken my measurements, but I can tell Im losing inches...and same as iped my watch too is falling off.

          Way to go on the 2 hours Jammie! I went for 2 hours today also and I'm feeling beat, but now I have to buckle down and get some lesson planning done before tomorrow. That's what I get for procrastinating! lol

            goal65, Make sure you are getting plenty of veggies into your diet. If you post a menu on the "Review my menu" forum you'll get some great suggestions from Atkins pros! Keep that positive attitude. Congrats on the 12 pounds lost already!

              Great job today, get some well deserved rest.
              40 year old male 6' 3"

              What I know:
              1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
              2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
              3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
              4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                Got up very early this morning and worked on a project most of the day. I took a break to work out in the late morning. And all day I've been sneezing and the beginning of a head cold ... say it ain't so!!! I have too much to do this week! Well, off to take a steamy shower and get some sleep ... g'nite all.

                  Great attitude Urban! Wish i had that when I did this WOE the first time around. Perhaps it would have become a WOL more easily. You have a definite "will succeed" spirit!!
