What do you feel has contributed to you being overweight? Any emotional/psychological reasons behind it? I suffered from severe depression and was placed on meds. I resorted to eating to help the pain and the rest is sad history.
What has been your biggest obstacle to losing weight? What has held you back from losing for so long? Food has been my medicine. At one point it was the only thing that made me happy. It's ingrained that I seek comfort from food and it's hard to find other sources.
What made you finally say "that's enough!" and take back control over your eating? I traveled to Asia doing a concert tour and I was miserable the entire trip because I could barely fit into plane seats and bus seats. I was just too damn big for everything. 23: What do you most look forward to doing when you get closer to goal? Being able to shop in any clothing store I WANT.
Do you have an ultimate reward for when you reach your goal weight? Alaskan cruise, and the ability to look fabulous while I'm on the boat.
What is your best piece of advice to give others starting out on their weight loss journey? You will know when it's right for you to make the decision to stick to this WOL and nothing will change your mid after that. All you need is determination and a willingness to embrace change with open arms. Don't be afraid! Every day is a better day.
