Thanks for sharing your inspiring story. I, too, have a reunion this summer (my 30th!) and my daughter's getting married in August. When she first told me she was thinking about it a couple of years ago, I had a horrible sinking feeling. I didn't want to be a fat mother-of-the-bride! Thank God for Atkins. I still have a ways to go, but a tool to get there. You've really inspired me. Let's knock 'em dead!

I want to say first Go Joan, Go Joan...Whose skinny? Whose skinny...Its JOAN, Its JOAN...
Well first of kudos for getting fit for life. As several have already said you are truly an inspiration. So much an inspiration that I was about to go to sleep and not do my exercises today...But your post just now inspired me to get up off my bum and get moving...No matter what! Thank you Joan...Keep up the good work you are almost at the end of your rainbow!

Joan,
What can I say that hasn't been said?
You're SPECTACULAR in every way a person a can be. You've earned the loss of every pound and are a living testament to the dream of a healthier body, mind and spirit that I believe was always Dr. Atkins foremost priority and driving force.
Your success has inspired more people than you may know - celebrate yourself and your own personal victory - all of us here are celebrating it right along with you.

What an inspiration you are.
Your going to knock them out at the reunion, and you will Wow them at your son's wedding! I know you are excited about shopping for that dress. Now don't buy too much... you gotta save something to buy when we hit the shops together!
Congrats my friend. You are one terrific lady!! :icondance :icondance :icondance

Joan, I had not seen this post before (thanks kkat for finding it and getting it up on new posts). It brought a tear to my eye to read of your happiness, and it encourages me enormously. I hope the wedding was just wonderful and wish you joy and happiness in your new thin life!
