  • intro from an oldie

Hi all I am dee from GA I first started atkins in 2004 and lost 75lbs going from 290 to 215 well to make a long story short I lost my mind and went off plan and undid all that I worked so hard on

So here I sit 5 years later and not only did I gain it all back I added 18lbs to it I am mierable my feet and legs hurt all the time and I have 0 eneregy so I figure before I wreck my health any further I better get back in the groove of things I am on my 6th day and so far so good I feel great

water has not come into play yet will start that next week when I will be closer to a potty until I get use to it again

so is there anyone still around from 2004?

Welcome back, while I was not on the board in 2004, I have had a similar experience in 2000. You know what works and how to do it. Glad you are here.

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

Hi and welcome back to ADBB!

Yeah, I can definitely relate with the "undoing" of all the hard work of the first time around on Atkins. But even though the weight is there to remind us of our mistake, at least we are back to do something about it! (Make sure to stop by the Second Time Around Club to offer/receive additional support!)

As you can see, I also joined in 2004. My avatar is still the same as then too! lol! I really need to change it

          Stay positive!
