    Good morning all! Have a great new start to the week.





    290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

    I saw 159 today! I've finally got to the 150's. No thanks to my sister, She presented me with a cheese burger yesterday. I'm hoping to loose 2 more pounds this week anyway. I am surrounded by sabatuers.



    My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
    2nd mini goal: 140!
    3rd mini goal:135!
    4th mini goal: 130!

    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

            Good morning, fellow CCers!

            Congrats on hitting a new milestone, Rita !

            Look at the new Smilies...I need to use some. Today is going to get up to 68 so I'm going to try and take a through the park (slowly because I'm still recovering from surgery). I already wish I was at home laying down and it's only 8:00 in the morning. Now...off to my and breakfast .

              It's a wet soggy day here in the Great Northwest. It can't make up it's mind if it wants to rain or snow....out like a lion.
              Congrats on the new number Rita.
              Kristine, looks like your recovery is coming along nicely. Enjoy your walk. Before you know it you'll be back to clogging again.

                Well weigh-in day is finally here, and after 2 weeks of induction, I am down 11 pounds and am close to my first mini-goal of 280...maybe next week!

                I'm exhausted this morning. I went to bed at 9pm last night so that I could get up at 5:30 to do a workout...which I did, but it was only a mini-workout and I struggled through. Not sure where this exhaustion is coming from? Maybe I didn't eat enough this weekend? Actually...thinking now...yesterday was very light with the vegetables, so maybe I don't have enough carbs in me today. I'll have to get on that. Since it's day 1 of the first rung for me, I brought celery and cream cheese for a snack...I'll start munching.

                Hope I can stay awake through the morning!

                Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                  Heaviest weight last year- 400 lbs. (2007)
                  April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
                  Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
                  1st major goal met -----
                  100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.

                  2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
                  Current weight – 225 lbs.
                  Goal weight - 150 – 160
