So far so good! I've marched around in my goal pants sporting a belly roll and pinching everything that must go! I looked at cheat foods and said "What are you doing?" I ended up eating some chicken with hot sauce and a slice of cheese. I checked my ticker chart, I've been sitting here for almost 2 months, sabotaging myself. I stuck up mini goals to hopefully see me threw to getting to goal. I am so close to getting to 145 again, I want to see it this time! I'll keep plodding along. It sometimes take my brain a bit to adjust, I sabotage myself for awhile before I go forward again. Its been almost 13 years since I saw 145. And 22 years since I saw 140 pounds. That's a **** of a block to get over! I always told myself I felt safe and comfortable at 150. Getting smaller is a bit weird to me but I am determined to get there.
My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.
1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
2nd mini goal: 140!
3rd mini goal:135!
4th mini goal: 130!
I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.
The day's going well. I saw the middle digit change on the scale, so that was a perk this week. I'm also going through my clothes and, with a bit of regret, getting rid of all my comfy clothes that won't seem to stay on..lol. They're all broke in and soft feeling..and going away. Guess I'll have to break in some new ones and wash them a whole lot!
Hey all, late night check in... not been doing any exercise (sore throat, my head is all stuffed up, can't hear, kinda drained energy-wise) but eating is fine. Went out to celebrate a relative's birthday and ignored the fresh baked bread and butter in the basket beside me and the cheesecake that went around the table, had a salad and grilled chicken with mixed veggies. It's so weird to me that I have no interest in eating those carby things at all. . . I'm much more excited thinking about losing a few more pounds than I ever would be about any food item.
Hope everyone has a good weekend - I have a terrible schedule until Monday and already know I will be tired all weekend, especially with this cold or whatever it is I have, but Monday will come soon enough and I can sleep in and maybe get a few things done assuming I shake the cold by then.
Gone to see if I can force a few pushups and squats before bedtime.
