Yoly.....Good thoughts, prayers, and lots of :hug coming your way for both you and your daughter. I'm so sorry she has to go through this, but little kids bounce back quickly. It is probably as hard on you as on her. Take care of her and be sure to take time to take care of yourself, too!

I'm going to say a prayer for you and your daughter right now. I hope things are better. My mother had a pressure cooker full of boiling bean soup explode all over her stomach when she was in her forties. She is now in her sixties, and although there is some scarring on the outside, nothing invasive has resulted from it. Hope that is encouraging. Being so young, the skin tends to heal much better then when we are older. I'm wishing you relief from your emotional pain as well...sometimes that can hurt as much as physical pain. God bless you both.

Everytime I come on here to read you guys' posts I cry. I am so grateful that I could find a place that is full of such wonderful, supportive people.

Abi, is much better now, she still has the special mesh on so her skin is not healed yet, but she is acting completly normal! She's running around, jumping, doing all her normal activities (and I'm freaked out!, scared she's going to fall down and hurt her still sensitive skin). We have a doctor appointment on Thursday, so I will update you guys when I know something more concrete. We are both going a little stir crazy, because I don't want to leave this house (I have to watch out, to make sure she doesn't get dirty for fear of infection and stuff), but my wonderful mother-in-law came over tonite to watch her for an hour and a half and I got to go to barnes and nobles for a while to read. Abi also went for a short walk, we both feel much better.

Thanks again for all your prayers and well wishes, I sincerely believe in the power of prayer, and I feel truly blessed that I have all of you good people sending love our way.
