  • What are you doing differently this time?

    I am:

    - drinking enough water (ick)

    - working out from the get-go (I didn't do much last time, or if I did, only sporadically. This time I've made a commitment to daily exercise.

    - Using flax seed from Day 1 - I never want to get that constipated again!!!!

    - confident that I can lose weight on this woe - last time, I wasn't sure when I started!
    Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05
    218/187/140
    Measuring every 2 weeks
    As of 10/31/05, losta total of 56.75 inches!



    Minimum 45 min cardio per day

    Not cheating

    Using ground flaxseeds too

    Making certain I get all 4 cups of veggies every day (this is a weak area for me)

    Exercising

      Thinking ahead about meals and preparing for them

      Taking vits and suppliments

      Checking this board everyday! Being part of a group makes this alot easier!

              Oh, yeah! I forgot! I'm not weighing either, for at LEAST two weeks, but now that I've stayed away from the scale for three days, I am thinking longer.

              So weird. Last time, I weighed constantly, just out of curiosity, though I only counted an official weigh every Monday. I committed to not doing it at all.....and it's easier than I thought!

                It's SOOO hard! My scale has this little voice, it says "Erica, c'mon. You know you want to know. Just a little weigh, tht's all. What harm could it do?" I rebuke you, Scale!

                I haven't wieghed since I started back really, almost 2 weeks. For me, that's amazing. I'm starting to play the guessing game though. How much do I THINK I've lost?? I'm afraid my expectations aren't going to meet reality when I finally do weigh. What to do, what to do... I know I've lost weight and I just need to be happy with that.

                  Like many of you, I am:

                  Drinking more water

                  Exercising (although I need to do more I didn't really do any last time)

                  Taking a multi-vit and Omega 3-6-9

                  Not cheating (before I though I could cheat and still lose - and I did but I don't want to do that to my body this time!)

                  Not drinking alcohol

                  Not drinking coffee
                  F, 30, 5'7"

                    Doing differently... Hmmmmm

                    Honestly, I need to make changes. Last time I cut out coffee totally. I haven't gotten brave enough to do that again yet.

                    Still taking supplements

                    Exercising a lot more than I did

                    Last time I got down to 135, then got married and went on a honeymoon cruise and that's all she wrote. I put ALL my weight back on plus 2.5 lbs for good measure.

                    But a gal here at work gave me this great catalog full of awesome clothes at CHEAP prices! So I'm setting mini goals so I can start ordering some cute stuff. :dancingb:
