    Weighing daily, imho, is ok if you are like Victoriasoup and don't get all whacky when you've gained a pound or two of water weight......

    As I've said before, last time around, I weighed three and four times a day, just out of curiosity. I would only let it affect me when it showed a LOSS, lol!!!!!
    Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05
    218/187/140
    Measuring every 2 weeks
    As of 10/31/05, losta total of 56.75 inches!



    Minimum 45 min cardio per day

      I used to have to step on the scale every day too. I think what changed it for me was the desire to get healthy. Of course I want to look better and that will be a part of getting healthy but I finally reached a point in my life where getting healthy is my main goal. I have a wonderful dh that loves me no matter what I weigh (I haven't figured that one out yet) and 2 babies (4 and 2) that I want to be around for for a long long time. I am border line diabetic at the age of 28...that not okay! I was actually diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago but I'm not sure I agreed with the doctor (he's an OBGYN) so I will go for a second opinion some day. He did say it wasn't severe enough to need medication just controled by diet (thus Atkins).

      Anyway that turned into a big ramble, but the gist was if you focus on health more than wanting to look good and be thin it helps with the obsession with the scale.

        Ok, so let me understand, we are only going to weigh on the 1st of the month. I will have to take my scales up to the attic and bury them LOL. Im in, what the heck.
        Now someone has to start a no Splenda for a week challenge. :raving

            I REALLY like the Monday weigh in idea, to keep me honest over the weekend. I'm gonna post my "Monday Results" starting on July 11th!
