Hi all -
Wow, I woke up this morning, checked the board, and LOTS of people have been posting! It's so fun to sit here with my coffee and read....almost like sitting down at Starbucks with a bunch of friends and catching up!
I was feeling up and down yesterday, but I think I have a hold of it now. For some reason, i've been feeling really annoyed that the loss I am feeling is not showing as much as I want it to. Which is unrealistic given that I'm only on my fourth week, and last time it wasn't really dramatic until a couple of months in to the woe.
I've decided to keep focussing on how I FEEL, which is leaner, stronger, more energetic, and happier. I know this woe works, and that the inches are coming off. Even if they weren't, I'd stick with this, because it feels good and I know that eventually, the fat melts off. All in its own time.
So I've already starte on my water for the day (ya hoo!) and I have good plans. Besides working out, my husband and I are going to lunch at a french bakery downtown. Yes, I know that sounds waaay, waaay too tempting, but I already know what I'm getting. They make the best egg salad, with horseradish. I'm ordering it without bread. The thought of the pastries there doesn't tempt me a bit. And we can sit outside and be in the fresh air, and then go to an art gallery across the way.
We may go to the beach later, in which case I'll get an extra walk in.
