  • Hello! It's Saturday!

    Hiya, all!

    I woke up to a lovely pm from Terry, who is probably my clone on the other side of the continent.

    When I was brushing my teeth, I noticed that the bulges on the sides of my chest (you know those, girls, NOT the boobs, the BULGES on the sides) were sagging instead of poofing out......

    My dh and I are going to Barnes and Noble at 10 a.m. to pick up our copies (3 of them! Everyone in the family is an addict) of the new Harry Potter. Then going to the Golden Omelette for breakfast, just the two of us, armed with our books...bet you can tell what I'm doing for the rest of the day, lol......

    How is everyone doing this fine morning?

      I am going to my sis's 30th bday surprize party tonight. Should be a big surprize~ she has no clue! It s/b fun!

        Wow Bill thats great!

        Finelly............. Woo Hoo! Loss of side bulge is a definate show of progress! We are ordering the Harry Potter this morning from Amazon. Didnt pre order this time.

        Omlette..... does sound good. Havent had breakfast yet. Good idea!

                    I weighed in and am 15.5 pounds down since the start of this second time around club! Woo(friggin)HOO! And INCHES!!!!! Lots of inches! I have ZERO appetite though so I am forcing myself to eat at tis point. But was expecting that.

                          I was where you were before I started walking Finelly. I lost alot of weight in 2003, then kind of sat there for this long comtemplating losing more. By the time I decided to lose more weight, I had backslid and gained a bunch back. no MORE! Thanks to you and others here, I am walking every day and feeling fabulous! I have a girlfriend who (like you) is losing very slowly. She lost more walking than lifting weights. Because of her slow progress, I decided to not worry about my body being toned until I am as thin as I want to be. THEN I will work on weight training.

                            Ah, saturday....

                            I woke up and started checking my email and websites, and there was a GIGANTIC thunderstorm which knocked the power out twice. So, I went to bruch where I talked to the guy who owns the place, and he told me where there's an OUTDOOR lap swimming place and told me to call him if I wanted to go. So, exercise partner in the making, perhaps?

                            I then went to get my tennis racket restrung, and made an appointment to have my hair cut and highlighted.

                            Next on my list is the grocery store and a manicure I think!
