And now new people are joining, and Nikki, take a look at the threads on this board. You are NOT alone. We have all been in the same situation. If we have found the strength and the commitment, so will you. If we have made it thru the first week, so will you. If we can celebrate our successes and embrace our challenges, so will you!
I've been there done that. I've done it!! I just fell off for a moment. I know about commitment, and all that I don't think you read my initial post. I've been around here for a minute. As far as making it through the first week, I left that in March. I don't understand what you're trying to say?

      Hi Nikki

I fell off for quite awhile, so when I went back on induction, I got the flu. If you haven't been off very long, you very well may not get it again.

With me, I had to set a date to get started again and stick with it. I've had my ups and downs, but for the most part I've been doing pretty well. I feel so much better when I'm eating the way I should and the bonus is, the pounds drop off!! (and inches... don't forget INCHES!)

There are challenges all over the boards to keep you motivated and accountable. Have you been to virtualmodel.com? You can make a model of yourself: what you look like now and what you will look like at your goal weight. Print a picture of you at goal and hang it up where you will see it everyday. If that isn't motivation, I don't know what is!

Hang in there. You have thousands of people on your side! Just pick a day and get going!

I went off for a long long time, but I don't think I ever got the flu in the first place.... SO, fortunately I don't know what induction flu is like!

Welcome officially back. You can get all the love and support you need here.

Stay strong. Im not sure how long your moment off was but if it was enough for you to knock yourself back a lot, a good clean eating plan will help you to get back to where you left off. Lots of water will help flush all the junk out of your system too.

Welcome back! I have set my mini goal for when we are on vacation and if I can make it I am going on a little spree at the mac counter... We don't have one anywhere around here! I know they have one where we used to live in NC and hopefully next week I will be there spending some dough!!! I could kick myself now since we moved back that while we were in Vegas I didn't go in the MAC store they had there! STUPID STUPID STUPID! Although, I probably saved some money by not going in!
